(September 16, 2022, 7:00 pm)Love this super market! Wasn't really sure what to pick up but the owners helped up since we're new to many of the food items. So glad our sense of curiosity brought us here. They have great hot food that is cheap, fresh made desserts, and delicious cake rusks.

(August 24, 2022, 3:42 pm)Visited this new Bangladeshi Grocery store in Pickering after recommendation of a friend.I was very impressed at the cleanliness,neat lay-out and the staff were extremely helpful and very polite.The owner Mr Kamrul personally attend to my needs and assisted me in my fish selection.I highly recommend Al Madina.

A freshly painted and newly built store in Pickering for all of the Bangladeshi community in Durham and beyond. A customer-focused staff with a similar pricing structure to the one in Toronto. I was able to buy delicious sweets (Rosomalai), fish (Hilsha and Ritha), fresh goat meat, spices, rice, daal, some deshi drinks, kid's favorite mango bars at a very competitive price.
I highly recommend at least visiting once to get the experience.
