He provided me with reasonable options and his team cameby to install the unit the same day. I would highly recommend and refer to family and friends. Dan came by to checked our Ac, and gave us all the details about his services. He was honest and professional, he answered all of our questions and the cost was affordable. The next day his team came and installed a new one. The work was quick and easy. Thank you Durham Housing Specialists!!! Now our house feels nice and chill :)

We needed our AC coil replaced and gases topped up. They accommodated our urgent request before some really hot days and for the best price we were quoted. So grateful to have found them and would highly recommend thier consultation and services.

Did the work (gas valve replacement) very quickly and showed me how they tested it to make sure there was no gas leaking as it was my major concern of mine with the repair. Will definitely be using them for any future issues we have with out heating or gas appliances. They also installed the dryer free of charge which was one less hassle for me. Very pleased overall

We spoke with Dan just over a year ago (just before the pandemic)
We knew we were going to renovate the basement and the ductwork was done horribly (what do you expect from a house that was built in the late 70's, when heating and cooling was just an afterthought). After a previous reno we lost the air returns from the second floor (wall removal, flush beam). There was also never any air returns in the bedrooms, which made the air quality feel very stuffy / stale especially our master bedroom which was the furthest away from the furnace.
We also needed the entire heater unit moved back 4 feet away from a wall and the A/c moved to the other side of the wall so we could create a walkout to the basement.
After lots of debates we ended up choosing the Trane product line (we splurged a bit, peace of mind for the next 15 years, hopefully). Furnace, AC and Tankless water heater.
Dan and his team took the time to really understand the issues, our needs and wants and we all worked together to create a final solution! Dan’s team (Mark and Mark) were very respectful of our home and did a great job to create a solution we are very happy with. They even made sure we had minimal down time of systems. All during the pandemic lockdown which made planning even more tedious.
After they completed the work all we can say is it’s fabulous and such a dream to have even cooling though out the house! And no more stale air in the bedrooms!
