(November 29, 2022, 6:42 am)We don’t normally leave reviews (our names are posted annually in the Ontario Sunshine List). We dealt with a gentleman by the name of Soroush. We had found him to be very professional and knowledgable. My husband really appreciated how professionally dressed he was. He had handled the investigation very well for somebody young with no children. It was fascinating listening to Soroush speak as he sounded almost like a “family engineer” trying to solve a very complex problem. We never knew what family systems theory was or meant until meeting with him. Best part of it all was he completed a referral to a special therapy program that could only be signed off by a CAS worker.
The only feedback we would have given to Soroush was to slow down when he was talking. -

From the first day we called them - not knowing anything - they were so supportive and kind to explain and guide us step by step!! If you are ready, call them, and ask for help and you will get all the guidance you need!
Christine - Worker we talked at the beginning listened to us and provided all the options we have and she was so kind to match us with Laura - our wonderful case worker who we consider our mentor and advisor. Meeting them was such a luck for us - not just finding your family, but also letting us realize what kind of family we want to be on the whole process!
Adoption is emotional journey and Durham CAS has always been holding our hand to find our son. Even though they are busy with so many families to help and kids to care for - they go above and beyond to make sure to help build your family
