(July 24, 2019, 11:11 pm)I’ve had Mike at Hemy Hockey sharpening/profiling my skates for many years and can’t say enough about his work. I teach skating to many Professional as well as Minor level hockey players and anytime anyone is having trouble with their skates/blades/ sharpening or profile, I send them to Mike. He spends the time figure out what they need, he pays attention to detail and makes sure he gets them back in balance. Mike completely understands the importance of having a player feeling balanced on their blades. It makes such a difference in their skating and confidence in their game. I would highly recommend Mike at Hemy hockey.

(April 23, 2017, 11:25 pm)After moving to Oshawa in September it was recommended that I use Hemy Hockey Shop at Campus to get my skates sharpened. For the past 15 years I have sharpened my own skates. Over the course of this season I've had three different guys sharpen my skates and they've been great every time! I would definitely recommend them if you're looking for a great place to get your skates sharpened.

He has time in and out consistently and flawlessly sharpened and profiled my skates to perfection. He has since brought that perfection to my son. It's important to understand the art of skate profiling and Mike has Mastered that art. His attention to detail is above and beyond anyone. Highly recommended!
