How to describe the perfect Bed and Breakfast experience. Obviously, it must be located in a region offering many opportunities for what interests onep; and, fine dining at the end of a busy day. From our perspective, Prince Edward County is the perfect getaway location and my wife and I have been coming here for over 15 years for long weekends. All that time we have been staying at the Ganders Bed and Breakfast in Wellington. It’s owners, Carol and Jeremy Gander are the consummate hosts - friendly and welcoming, and highly knowledgeable about the County - who provide two very comfortable rooms and excellent breakfasts, in their lovely house overlooking a gorgeous garden and the lake.

Carol and Jeremy we're very welcoming to is and made us felt at home during our stay. The bed and breakfast felt very warm and cozy and they had a lot of facts and suggestions for the local area for us to visit. There is also a small private beach at the backyard with a beautiful garden. Would definitely recommend others to visit.

A great stay! We brought bananas with us and our host volunteered to turn them into banana bread. It was fantastic! Great private beach section to sit by a fire and have a glass of wine. Very romantic setting. Would stay again. Excellent location and the hot breakfast was a real treat every morning! (The ricotta pancakes were to die for!)

We stayed at Ganders B & B for 2 nights on Sept. 28 and 29 and stumbled across it by accident when we were looking for a B & B near the Sandbanks. Boy are we glad we booked it. This is a lovely place to stay at. Very quaint home with a private beach. The rooms are cozy and the entire home is so welcoming but not to mention our lovely hosts, Carol and Jeremy. We felt just like family welcomed into their home. The breakfasts were amazing with fresh produce from local markets. We had pancakes with fruit one morning and my goodness, they melted in your mouth. We had never tasted pancakes so good. Nothing like fresh home cooked meals. We will absolutely be booking this B & B again next year! The privacy and coziness of this place was right up to our standards. This is a little treasure.
