(April 29, 2022, 7:46 pm)Went to the annual scratch and dent sale. Lots of kayaks in different styles and colours available.
I was able to purchase a new kayak that the only flaw was that it was missing the stickers and saved over $225.00 dollars. Also purchased another kayak with some scratches on the front sticker as the only flaw and saved over $200.00 on that one as well.
George at Clearwater worked with me during my visit. He was a great rep to work with. Polite and friendly and very knowledgeable about the products. He assisted me in choosing the right kayak for what I want to use it for and was patient while I asked questions and considered my options.
After deciding on which kayaks to purchase George quickly grabbed the splash skirts for each and assisted me with loading the kayaks.
Purchasing kayaks at Clearwater Designs was a pleasant, quick and efficient experience and I highly recommend giving them a visit if you are looking into kayaking. :-) -

We love our new Iqaluit, and my old Inuvik is still going strong after 20 YEARS! A true testament to the durability of their products. You can't go wrong with this family owned business. (July 14, 2021, 12:34 am)We ordered two Algonquin kayaks, cross bars and J Kayak holders from Ian. The kayaks were delivered on time as promised and this was a great experience from start to finish. When we came to pick up the kayaks Mike was great helping us set up the cross bars and carriers. We headed down the road to kayak in Black Creek and love our kayaks. Totally recommend buying from these guys with great product and exceptional customer service.

(July 18, 2016, 2:58 pm)We bought 2 kayaks from the Clearwater factory and are extremely happy with the products and service. There are not cheap, discount store craft, but the price is very reasonable based on the quality. I'd met our sales rep at an outdoors show and we had a great chat. Met him again at the factory store during their spring sale and he was helpful, knowledgeable about the product and options. Highly recommend both the company and the boats. Also note, I believe this is Canada's only home-grown manufacturer of kayaks. They also make several canoes.
