(August 3, 2023, 10:52 pm)Serendipity is an exceptional yoga studio. The space is airy and minimal yet warm and comfortable. Everything you need for the class is provided. But like most studios, the instruction is everything. That’s where the thoughtful and clear guidance of Janice takes the experience to another level. Janice guides the practices with neutrality and clarity. Upon taking anyone of the numerous classes offered, you will receive an instruction that addresses all levels of expertise which is clear and precise. I’ve had friends visit the county and join a class and rave about Janice and the experience at Serendipity. A few come back just for her classes! As a newcomer to the county, and to yoga, Serendipity has been an amazing addition to my life. Couldn’t recommend this gem of a studio anymore.

(July 27, 2023, 3:37 pm)I started taking classes with Janice about 9 months ago. It was new to me but Janice made it comfortable and easy to follow. It has now become an important part of my week. It has played a huge role in alleviating various aches and pains that were starting to surface.
I also really enjoy the flexibility to go practice in their studio or I can also join via Zoom which makes it easy to tailor to my schedule.
I highly recommend that people come to enjoy the practices here -

(April 19, 2023, 11:13 pm)I should preface by saying I have never done yoga before and that I am age 72. In the last six months I have joined Serendipity Yoga in Bloomfield. I participate in their “chair yoga” which I thought appropriate given my age and knees. I thought it would be good for me. I didn’t realize it would be GREAT for me. It has improved my mobility, my breathing and my self awareness. But it has given me SO MUCH MORE. We are led by Janice Duffy. She is amazingly calm yet reassuring and empathetic. With her guidance and patience I have increased my strength and balance while having fun in the process. We all enjoy her classes and look forward to each one. We are so fortunate to have this open in our area. I would highly recommend trying it yourself. I love it.
