(November 4, 2020, 10:33 pm)We hired Mark to replace a botched job by fly-by-night roofer whose work resulted in more leaks after the new roof was installed. Mark diagnosed the problem, explained how the work should have been carried out, what materials should have been used, and sent me a quote that he stood by. He even followed up with a call to confirm that his job resulted in no leaks. He does excellent work and stands by it.

Mark was professional from A-Z. Friendly, cleaned up at the end of every day, professional and just great to work with and have in our home. Our 35 year old condo looks brand new now!!
Will highly recommend to anyone in the area looking for a painter, handy man, repairs etc -

(April 25, 2020, 8:08 pm)I hired Mark to do a big, dirty reno of a house that was abandoned for 10 years. He did a great job even though the house had horrible smells and rats nests. He looks for ways to save his customers money while still doing the job right. If needed, he does extras that are not part of the job without complaining (snow blowing, picking up materials, shopping the best price, finding unique old parts that match the house). Once roofing season started, Mark had to move on from the job - but not before coating my roof with a material called liquid rubber. It looks beautiful. Mark came back 10 months after doing the roof because there was a leak. He fixed it under warranty, no charge. I called many contractors in many industries and Mark's Quality Painting & Home Improvements is a rare gem in Eastern Ontario. Thanks for the great work Mark.
