Rheo Thompson Candies

We visited Rheo Thompson as one of our stops on the #chocolatetrail and fell in love! The woman who served us was very knowledgable and gave us some history of the store and its chocolate, and let us sample the famous mint smoothie. Our daughter was super impressed that were in a place featured in her favourite show - Amazing Race!

The chocolate-covered red licorice is addictive. I buy it every year. This is a wonderful store and just two blocks from the Avon theater.

Wow. Try the mint smoothies. You'll be amazed at how good these things are. I dare you to stop at one! They have hundreds of other great candies of all kinds. Worth a drive to Stratford just to visit an amazing small scale local landmark.

A Stratford landmark (in my opinion). Famous for their delicious chocolate, and what has become their signature flavour; The Mint Smoothie. Whether you like dark or milk chocolate, Rheo Thompson has you covered. With a beautiful selection of seasonal gifts all wrapped to give, they also offer delights such as chocolate cherries (my favourite), handmade jelly sweets, caramel corn, and a chocolate counter where you can mix and match to your heart's content.
Prices are reasonable for the high quality product they offer, so if you're a chocolate lover, adjust your budget accordingly - you will not leave empty handed nor disappointed.
