This was an excellent choice by my wife. We've been to the festival numerous times over the last fifteen years. I remember the plays but not where we stayed. This place I will remember with great fondness.

The house is beautiful. Decorated with period pieces and mementos of our hosts careers in the entertainment business. The hosts were very warm and friendly and extremely helpful.

Only recommendation I have is to pack a pair of indoor slippers. You check your outdoor shoes on large mat just inside the door.

My partner and I loved our stay here while taking part in the Stratford Music Festival. Our hosts were attentive, kind, and spoiled us with bespoke cuisine tailored to our preferences. We loved the pool, the location, and the generous hospitality! Thanks Ronda and Tony!

The owner/hosts are extremely gracious, and superbly unique as partners in business as well as a model couple. My conversations with Tony and Ronda were more important than the six plays I saw. And I did love the plays as I always do after at least 30 visits to the Stratford Festival. The decor throughout the house is exquisite, full of fascinating antiques. I stayed in the Provence room. Every detail of this spacious room is French. The breakfasts are more than delicious and presented as works of art. I must return every year to this wondrous house, built in 1916. If Rhonda and Tony have time to tell you a bit about the history there are plays and stories to write besides the ones Rhonda has written . I felt blessed to stay here.

One of the best B & Bs in Stratford! The house is absolutely beautiful. From the minute you walk in, you feel like you have stepped into yesteryear and have made the right choice if you are looking for quiet luxury and hosts who are thoughtful, smart and truly care about your stay. The breakfast is 5 star, and you can float in the gorgeous salt water pool lazily while enjoying adult company. A true gem. I recommend the Manor to all my friends looking for a luxury retreat. What a joy!

We had one of the nicest experience in Stratford Ont.The .Our host R.L. at Avon Manor made certain that our stay was enjoyable. Our Breckfest was typical of a higher end B&B. We plan on returning to the Avon Manor !!
BTW the Manor was built in the early 1900's and it's interior design and finnish to detail are all top notch. When you add the charm of the theater district with the meandering river this becomes a must visit location !
