(August 22, 2021, 12:53 pm)Just back from a week with my family at Bookers. This resort has an awesome large sand beach, great for small children. Each cabin has its own fire pit, chairs, picnic table, clothes line and BBQ. Firewood is available at standard local rates. Our 2-bedroom cabin (#5) was small and rustic but everything worked well and served our needs as a home base. The vibe of the resort while we were there was very relaxed, friendly and family oriented. Brad the owner was helpful and unobtrusive. I would recommend this resort to others.

(July 8, 2021, 2:23 pm)I was there years ago under a different owner, and it was marvelous. The new owners have made it a delightful place for me to return to again possibly this year, as i look to purchase on the lake. I believe it has the best swimming on the little bay, with a lovely sandy bottom. I have spoken to the new owners and they seem quite flexible. The cottages are well maintained and the grounds are well manicured and it is a safe environment for small children. Beautiful pictures can be taken, looking down the little bay, to the open water of the main part of the lake. Excellent fishing also.

(March 12, 2021, 11:53 pm)I haven't been back in a few years but my children have grown up at Booker's summer retreat. Ten years straight. A great place for family to unwind and have a great time. The Booker's are like family as I use to remind Mr Booker over and over again Lol. Love the grounds and lake. A very safe place for childeand adults. You won't be disappointed. Love you guys, Carlos
