We are so happy to see how Jagger has changed his behaviour... At home, he understands so well the commands, he takes his naps and sleeps on his crate with no problems at all. We are still practicing all commands outside on walks and he obeys, no doubt in a few weeks he will do it perfectly, also I can brush him much better than in the past. Thanks for helping us with the training. For sure, your services are highly recommended.

Apex canine team was great. I have two young kids and they helped me train my 5 month old golden doodle, Simba, into an ideal family pet. They were flexible with training time and were extremely accommodating of my schedule. They did a combination of training at their location and at mine. They even included my kids in a few training sessions which has been extremely helpful in creating a consistent environment for Simba. One of my biggest challenges I faced with Simba was our walks, he was constantly pulling or jumping up on people when they passed by on sidewalk, Mazen and the Apex team, ensured they focused multiple sessions on this issue so that now, both my husband and I, as well as our kids, are able to confidently walk Simba with minimal issue. Simba now walks by our side without pulling on the leash and without dragging us behind him. I would highly recommend the Apex team to anyone facing a particular issue with their pet or for anyone looking to start basic training of a new puppy. After 10 weeks with Apex, Simba is fully potty trained, he is able to hang out nearby during meal time without table surfing, he doesn’t bark at other dogs or people passing by on walks, is fully crate trained, and even goes and stays in his designated dog bed in our house.

Bringing my dog to Apex was the best decision I could’ve made! I took Whisky, my 1-year-old golden retriever here after putting him through a basic obedience program with a different trainer which ended up being a waste of time and money. His previous trainer told me Whisky would never be able to walk in a heel position because of how bad his pulling was and because he was always overstimulated. At this point I couldn’t even take Whisky for a walk because he was pulling excessively and lunging at cars, we also couldn’t have visitors over because he would go crazy, and nothing seemed to calm him down. After taking him to apex for basic obedience sessions, Whisky is a totally different dog! He responds when given a command, he can HEEL on walks and no longer pulls or lunges at things, and when people are over, he sits in “place” which leaves him calm and relaxed when they leave. I 1000% recommend bringing your dog here!! It’s worth it. Just be ready to put in the work at home as well!

Lily was already 3 years old when we got her and had no prior training whatsoever. She didn't know how to sit, stay, down or anything at all. She was very anxious, nervous, and insecure and would flinch over anything, even just us touching her. After we did her assessment and obedience training with Apex, her confidence was through the roof! She can do basic commands AND more, she can walk in a trail off leash now and with awesome recall. We can leave her at home and she's calm and just sleeps!

Apex helped us navigate through Lily's anxieties and made training based on her needs and problems. They showed us how training can be fun for her and help develop our relationship with her. Even if she is already an "adult" dog, we were able to teach her commands with the help of Apex and brought out her potential. Best decision for our big baby!

I recently sent my dog to a board and train program with Apex Canine Training Academy, and I am absolutely thrilled with the results. My dog had anxious behaviour, puppy pulling and a lack of focus to complete a command on demand. I wasn't sure how to address all the issues, nor did I have the time to give him to fully commit to his training to get him where he needed to be. I was interested in professional help, but very hesitant to send him away for board and train, but I knew it would be best for him so I enrolled, with the idea of pulling him out of training if I had any inkling of nervousness arise while he was away.

That never happened! My dog completed his 3 weeks of board and train, and I am so happy he did!

The trainer, Yunus, was incredibly knowledgeable and patient with my dog. He kept me updated throughout the entire training process, and I could tell that he genuinely cared about my dog's well-being. He ensured I never felt like a bother with my 101 questions and took his time to thoroughly walk me through every single step. Apex understood that they needed to build trust, not just with my dog, but also me as the owner and went above and beyond to do this. When my dog returned home, I was amazed at how much he had improved. He is much more obedient and responsive, and his behavioural issues were almost completely resolved.

I would highly recommend this board and train program to anyone looking to improve their dog's wellbeing, and your relationship with your dog. The trainers at Apex are fantastic, and the results are truly remarkable. It was definitely worth the investment, and I am so grateful for the positive impact that this training has had on my dog's life.
