(March 17, 2019, 1:18 pm)This place is all about the location, which makes it a great spot for beers after playing hockey. As it is a student bar, the prices used to be quite reasonable. I was surprised the other evening when I ordered a Belgian Moon and payed almost $8 for a pint. The price is in line with other pubs in the city, but I'm not sure it is sustainable with students as their primary market. Time will tell.
The service is ok, but I always head straight for the bar to get my first beer to avoid waiting at my table. The atmosphere typically consists of uni students and hockey players along with the several TVs showing sports. The food is typical pub food, whl8th nothing standing out as extraordinary.
I will be going back to this pub, and I look forward to it! -
