  I find most TD branches reasonable to deal with for day-to-day teller transactions. Unfortunately, when dealing with the brokerage arm (TD Direct Investing), not all branches are equal. At most branches, opening a Direct Investing account or making a contribution is typically straightforward, but if staff make an error or you ask an "atypical" question regarding brokerage accounts, heaven help you. Questions go into some sort of black hole, and there is no telling what sort of response you will get or when. Ask any manager -- behind closed doors -- and they will admit branch/brokerage communication can be a horror show. That being said, the Manager at this particular branch seems to encourage staff to take ownership of such problems. Cathy in particular was immensely helpful and professional in trying to resolve problems that another branch could not handle. (Although this may not be the best forum, I should also add that there was a regional VP, Emily Manalakos, who was also very helpful, but I believe she may have retired)
