  Love the food and service. I did have a few times where I got stale mutton or beef rolls but its no big deal. I wish they would serve halal, that would make them get a broader clientele. I dont mind it myself but if it was halal I would take it home for my family often as they eat only halal.

  It's the best Kerala restaurant in Ottawa, they offer a wide variety of dishes at a very reasonable price. I just had chicken egg masala dosa. Dosa was so crispy and the gravy was so amazing. Their service was also excellent, I actually felt like I was back home. I never thought that I would enjoy the authentic taste of Kerala cuisine here but Malabar House just proved that I was wrong.
  
  This restaurant is little far from downtown but definitely worth the travel.

  Am a frequent visitor to this place. There is a variety of cuisines available here. They have their own special recipes. There are different types of Masala dosas available, thus making the mix of contemporary and innovative culinary ideas. This place is not just the South Indian takeout but a mix of the whole Indian food culture. A good choice for Indian cuisine in Ottawa. The takeout is open from morning till night making it easier for outing options. Try it out, am sure you will love it.
