(July 2, 2019, 12:18 am)5 stars for the milk cake. I was skeptical about the authenticity of all the sweets here but I was happily proven wrong. Has a variety of sweets all of which are great and as close to the Indian taste as you can get anywhere in Ottawa. The rest of the dishes are pretty good as well, but the sweets are just a cut above them all. Dine in is not preferred here as the owners themselves promote take-out. The atmosphere is that of a typical Indian shop which might feel foreign to people, but I felt it was great. Bring debit cards here because they don't accept credit cards as far as I know. Plus, it's located a bit too far from downtown/central Ottawa, so you'll save a lot of hassle by ordering from here via SkipTheDishes.

(June 9, 2019, 6:59 pm)My favorite Indian food in Ottawa by far. Everything is home-cooked, fresh, and delicious. The lamb vindaloo is my personal favorite. Everyone is very friendly, and there are usually a few patrons in the restaurant at all times.

(April 30, 2019, 8:10 pm)Truly a gem in the west-end! Very authentic cuisine with the option for spicy (or not). Their vegetarian dishes are superb, and we haven't even tried a fraction of the menu yet. We will be back for more! Love the sweets too.

(March 22, 2019, 1:01 am)The food at this restaurant is truly delicious!! If you're looking for a perfect, well balanced blend of spices and flavour then this should be your go to place. Definitely make sure to try their specialty dish.. so mouthwatering! The staff and the owner of this restaurant are very welcoming and know how to put a smile on their customer's faces. Highly recommend this place :)

(March 12, 2019, 12:21 am)We are addicted to this restaurant (Picture shows our addiction)! Whenever my sister visits me from Toronto we order through Skipthedishes. So far, we have ordered 5 times (diff. vegetarian dishes). We are never disappointed with their food quality or quantity or preparation time or packaging style. Yes, food is over priced but they offer great service. I had even recommended this restaurant to my colleagues and they loved it. I have tried other Indian restaurants but this would be my all time favourite. Restaurant's timings is also reasonable. Keep up the good service.
