My husband and I enjoyed working with Shiva Gupta and her team of tradespeople.
She had a clear vision of the work that needed to be done in completely renovating the ground floor of our home including the kitchen, dining room, powder room and office area. She did not impose her ideas but collaborated with us in finding what suited our style and budget. She was very helpful in guiding us with the design element of the job and in choosing materials. We did make changes as the job progressed and there were some unanticipated surprises along the way. In both instances Shiva immediately informed us of additional costs and waited on our approval before going forward.
We especially appreciated the high quality of workmanship among the various trades and the respectful way in which they cared for our home while work was being done - including such things as cleaning up the job site at the end of each day.
Shiva pays attention to the smallest detail as she has an artist's eye- nothing escapes her notice. The end result is perfection!
The work was completed on budget and more or less on time considering that we added some things along the way.
Not a day goes by without us being grateful for the work that was done. Everything works, is well organized and is in just the right place. We love our new home! and look forward to the time when we can begin work with Shiva and her team on our upstairs rooms.

I have no flair for interior design but certainly admire those talented few that do. Shiva is a true professional and a joy to work with. I have had the pleasure of working with 7jDesign on two occasions.The creative force behind the company, Shiva Gupta, is incredibly talented yet open to my and my husband's ideas and opinions. She is so wonderful to work with that we flew her to our home in Newfoundland this past summer after we left Ottawa and had her design our property in the historic community of The Battery. Shiva and her team are diligent and trustworthy. My experience has always been incredible and the outcome amazing!
