Surprisingly, there are quick a few vegan options in the store! -

(March 5, 2019, 9:34 pm)The people there come in two varieties: they either speak English and are very helpful or they don't speak English and they want up to leave them alone. Today everyone I spoke with spoke English and are very helpful. In fact, this gentleman brought me right to the shelf where they had curries, helped me select one, then asked if I needed anything else before going back to his task. They need me guys like him. The cashier spoke English, and was joking with me: more often they aren't very pleasant: I get the impression that I'm at best tolerated.
Food is good. I wish some things would be better, but the bang for your buck and selection is second to none in Ottawa.
I have 4 out of 5 because only a few of the non Anglophones made me feel less than welcome. The rest are wonderful people, just like most other stores. -

(March 5, 2019, 3:41 am)4 stars only because I expected cheaper prices BUT other than that it is like an Asian food wonderland with the many options of items you'd never find elsewhere unless you're in Korea, China or Japan. They're got some cool food tasting stations too. Super busy on weekends.

(February 22, 2019, 5:10 am)I highly recommend coming here at around 7:30pm because that is when the leftover cooked food during the day is packed into containers and sold at a discount. The sushi, sandwiches, and buns are also discounted at this time. I also come here for ingredients to use in a hotpot at the frozen section next to the fresh meat counter and vegetable section.
