I had contacted Chris a few months back when I realized that having a large wedding reception this year was not possible at my venue (.. thanks covid). He was responsive but not overwhelming unlike other catering companies who literally followed-up every day or every second day to win my business. He was very timely in his responses and made an effort to ensure I got exactly what I was looking for. For example, I had found an image of a meat & cheese skewer off of Pinterest and he agreed to make it for me since I was looking for food options which were covid friendly (skewers & single box options only). It was an antipasto skewer with cured sausage, mozzarella, marinated olives and hot pepper…. and it was THE CROWD PLEASER! Not only was the food incredible but he also provided large serving plates with all the appetizers which saved me from scrambling around the kitchen to find my own serving plates. This as well was a life saver. I would 100% recommend Chris at the Mixing Bowl to anyone in Ottawa and I hope that I eventually get to host other gathering in the future where I will definitely be reaching out to him again. Thanks again Chris for helping make my wedding so memorable.

(November 24, 2019, 4:07 pm)Chris did an amazing job catering our wedding reception in our home. Unfortunately, we didn't get a chance to eat or even see any of the canapes he prepared as we were at a restaurant for the dinner with a smaller group, but my guests raved about them. The servers were great and the kitchen was clean when they left. Thank you to Chris and the team!
