  Great shop with lots of items to choose from. I, unfortunately, had a bit of a shyte dealing with a less than professional staff member at the CS counter but everyone else was top shelf. And ultimately, the CS rep, was merely making assumptions and not listening to what was being explained.

  Quiet store, great customer service, amazing collection of things. Love their animal displays too. They should really think about renting out the cozy chairs in front of the fireplace so people can read. Its gorgeous!

  Pretty solid selection of outdoors equipment for camping, hunting, fishing, and cooking as well as rustic homewares. Also the store tends to smell like baking because of the food they sell. Staff are friendly, prices are fairly competitive. Overall a solid spot

  Amazing experience to visit. You start your trip off looking for something specific, but end up admiring the taxidermy, sitting by the huge fire relaxing, or you end up eating fresh made nuts or fudge. Staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Store is extremely well kept, and there is a huge variety of every single item. Sales are great too. Even if you are not looking to buy camping, hunting or fishing supplies, go to Cabela's and experience it. It is well worth the trip.

  Excellent place in Ottawa for outdoor gear. Their prices are a bit higher than average but their sales are fantastic. A great selection of quality hunting gear. I'm sure they have great fishing gear too, but I wouldn't know as I don't fish. Beware of the fudge counter. Although it may be pricey, the in-house made fudge is a little too good.
