  Nice restaurant. Slightly older atmosphere but still cozy. The restaurant was fairly clean and the staff were friendly. The food was really good with decent sized portions. Some tables hadn’t been cleared but I think it was just because it was fairly busy due to the near by Ice Dragon Boat Festival at Dows Lake. The front door was awkward as it opens in the direction you were walking so you had to go around it. Not a big deal but odd choice none the less. It was a nice restaurant to take a break and enjoy some good food.

  Place was great. Food is really good. Gotta try those meatballs!!! The only reason I can't give it a perfect 5 stars is the many mistakes the waiter made... but he was really nice and you could tell he was trying. Just a little advice should The Prescott management ever reads this. Tell your waiter that if he/she screws up, knows and tells you he'll make it up with a great desert, that he doesn't turn around and charge you for it! Lol my wife and I had a good laugh at that one. :-) We also went upstairs to the Murder Mystery night after diner to top things off. What an awesome night out.

  An Ottawa staple, for sure! Their meatball sandwiches are legendary - with good reason - but everything on the menu is great. Try the fried smelts! ????????

  The Prescott has been a traditional Italian pub for a looooong time. It's a casual, friendly, clean establishment with good table service. A multitude of TV screens display current sporting events but they're not overpowering. The food is also very good fare.

  Fantastic comfort food, would recommend the square pizzas and or a meatball sandwich, paired with a quart of beer, one of the last places a person can get a true quart. The ambience is exceptional, nothing fake here, a place that has thankfully change little over the decades. Real good food in a character place, can't go wrong. I would add there are a number of well placed televisions in the tavern part, excellent for viewing football, hockey or sport of choice.
