  Went to this place today based on reviews. Sometimes you expect too much based on reviews and get let down. Not the case at all. This food truck was delicious.

  I tried the halo halo, and fell in love with the Turon in it. I can not believe that I have missed this great one right down my apartment for almost two years. It is an unforgivable mistake.
  The owner is also very nice. The day I did not bring enough cash, but the owner still sell me the halo halo. It was the first time I stepped out of my room after getting fever for the whole week, and the temperature that day was crazily high. The halo halo literally made my day.

  Absolutely worth it.
  The longaniza burger is definitely I can see myself craving in the near future. I will definitely be back very soon! Great service and nice folks.

  So good! We had the fish tacos and pork adobo. I can't believe we've never been here before, its a must. Theyre also really nice which is like the cherry on top.

  I sincerely appreciate the authenticity and love that was put into creating the menu and dishes. Definitely felt like home ❤️ I tried the Bicol Express and the Halo Halo and boy they did not disappoint!! Please please please go and try Meryenda and I guarantee that you will love it!

Based in Ottawa, Meryenda Food Truck (@meryenda_snack) was opened in May of 2015 by founders Mark Coronel and Paul Castanos. Mark Coronel has 10+ years working in the food industry most of them as a sous chef of a popular restaurant chain while Paul Castanos has cooked primarily in small kitchens focusing on different types of cuisines like Asian Fusion, West African, etc.
