  I went as early as I could, I spent all day there, and I still didn't have time to look over all the areas. One exhibit definitely brought out an emotional response, and isn't that what art is meant to do? So invoke your emotions, I recommend a visit to this very well laid out and hand-selected gallery.

  Put on your comfy shoes, check your coat and get ready to spend many hours wandering the gallery! Permanent collection includes the Group of Seven, Contemporary Art, Modern Art, Inuit and North West Coast. There is something for every area of interest. The gift shop also has a great selection of books, art supplies, stationary and posters depicting the artwork from the artists seen in the gallery and jewellery. We spent almost 4 hours and saw just about everything so hopefully that gives you an idea of the time needed.

  So many paintings. The modern art stuff inspires me; I think, I could attach a cord from one end of my room to the other and then that room would remind me of all the other incredible things at the gallery. I still think that Pam's art is the best art.

  This is a must visit. Its beyond organized and clean and safe. It's a comfortable space to view some of the world's finest pieces. It takes about eight hours to get through the entire gallery and it is difficult to map out a route to see everything efficiently.

  I like going to the National gallery of Canada. They always have such interesting exhibitions. The building always has at least 3 exhibitions going on and always with arts from various eras. One flat fee gets you access to the whole museum. They also have a phenomenal gift store that you can easily spend an hour in looking at all the different products. I try to visit at least once a year!
