(October 12, 2023, 3:22 pm)Ian is really good at making martial arts exciting and fun while also making sure that students are engaged. He is good at adapting skills for different levels and can teach beginners and more advanced students at the same time while ensuring that everyone is having fun.

(May 22, 2023, 1:02 am)Very beginner friendly class, with an eclectic mix of different martial arts - stick work, kicking, punching, grappling, etc. The atmosphere is casual and friendly, but Ian does a great job giving each student individual feedback. My favorite part is ‘story time’ at the end where we go over a story with interesting implications for morale and ethics.

(February 18, 2023, 3:48 pm)I have 3 kids ages 6-20 (the 6 year old is in lil Ninjas) and Ian is hands-down my absolute favourite instructor of all the teachers, activities, classes, everything my kids have ever been enrolled in. He has an incredible gift for teaching discipline while being hilarious & fun. Parents stay and it’s actually fun to just witness Instructor Ian’s magic at work.
