Not only do you receive the expert assessment and repair but Peter is honest and more than fair. And his shop is full of the most beautiful clocks you'll ever find. Well worth a visit, you may discover the "time" you need !

(March 7, 2021, 4:19 am)I can’t say enough good things about Schafer’s. Peter repaired and refurbished the movement in my Arthur Pequegnat clock (circa 1904-1916). The clock is a family heirloom and hadn’t worked in decades and now it’s working like new again. Peter was professional, friendly and knowledgeable and did the work on time and for a very reasonable price. He’s even trying to help me track down a bezel for the clock to replace the one that was lost decades ago. A great family owned business!

Right from the beginning he knew all about this type of clock. Because I'm quite a distance away, he arranged to meet me closer by to drop off my clock when he was in the area. Also, he sent a video that assured me he had gotten the clock working. I would highly recommend his services to anyone wanting their vintage clock repaired.
