If there was such a thing as 10 stars.....hands down I would shoot for 100 stars for OSC.

No doubt about them from the start (got wind of them on Reddit thru RideOttawa) and this was legit the best decision I've made and best investment of learning of my life. Did my course this past weekend with Flavio, Doug, and Amanda. They were SUPER patient, and this was my first time on a bike as a driver. I've been a passenger a couple times, so I was expecting how to balance properly. But I love the fact they will take 1 on 1 time with you if you are REALLY struggling. I was struggling so badly the first day with Clutch/Throttle and couple times I nearly flew off the bike, and was low key getting really stressed about my possibility of passing my M1X.

By Sunday afternoon, with just a 1 on 1 for about 10 mins in the morning, I nailed it. It just came to me and overcoming the Slow Speed Maneuvering was finally possible for me by the afternoon a couple of exercises before the test. Honestly, I had my major doubts because.....to squeeze in all that in basically 1.5 days, to me I personally felt like No way I would be able to ride...but I was so wrong. I'd legit buy a beer for all the volunteers for all their dedication to teaching us the safe methods of operating and riding a bike. And the fact they're just volunteers speaks volume of their passion. Hopefully one day I can also give back, because it was SUCH a rewarding experience.

The other beauty of this whole experience is that...you are together with a group. Whether they've had experience from the past or completely brand new rider, you all struggle and overcome together and that bond is like no other. Honestly. Even in this day and age. The support from your co-riders definitely gives you that fuzzy feeling for sure!

HIGHLY recommend, especially nervous beginners too. You will get it, trust me. It's easier said than done, but have faith in yourself, because you will ride.

Thank you OSC, and Group B!!! Can't wait to be back for my M2X and to learn even more!!!!!

I did my M1 Exit course with OSC and it was well worth every penny! This was the first time I ever got on a bike (although I have driven a car with a manual transmission most of my life, which definitely helped with clutch/throttle control).

I got paired up with Ronald and Ray and they were great. Always willing to humour my questions. The evaluation at the end was a breeze as I felt the instructors prepared us well. Also, they always had a keen eye on all of us to make sure we don’t develop any bad habits.

Looking forward to taking the M2 exit with OSC once I am eligible!

I have recently completed the M1 exit course with the Ottawa Safety Council. I had instructors Alex, Dave and Andrew for the weekend and they were excellent, very informative and calm while having fun and keeping a positive attitude. I highly recommend this course and would like to thank all the volunteers who have been able to make this possible. I look forward to using my newly acquired skills out on the road!
