We can’t say enough about Obasan. We were first introduced to Obasan when my wife and I bought new pillows. They were very informative about specific requirements. My wife chose the Dual Organic Shredded Rubber and Wool pillow, I chose the Organic Shredded Rubber pillow. We both could not be happier, the support we need and never feels hot.
We liked the pillows so much we decided to buy one of their Organic Wool comforters. We picked up the Mid-Weight Comforter. We tried it for a couple days, but my wife is a very hot sleeper, and since we live in a condo on the top floor, our unit does not really cool off at night, even with the furnace off. They were very happy to make the switch for us to a Lightweight Comforter. Perfect! We love how temperature regulating the organic wool is, it never feels too hot as wool will still breath when damp, unlike down. It has a nice weight to it, so it makes you feel secure, and reduces tossing and turning during the night like a weighted blanket. We should have done this a long time ago. My wife and I both sleep so much better.
I wish we had visited Obasan when we bought our new mattress 6 months ago. We would have the ultimate sleep system now if we had.
This is a fantastic company, all products made locally right here in Ottawa, employing local people. You can see them making the products when you visit the store through the windows in the back of the store. Support local? Does not get more local than that.
Needless to say, we are life long customers now. Thank you Obasan!
I should also add, it is nice to see a company taking Covid protocols seriously, both for customers AND employees, it shows they care about every persons wellbeing. -
