Ottawa Ice Fishing

Much thanks to Sherif for helping my dad cross ice fishing off of his bucket list! He was very friendly and professional, letting each member of our family try different steps in the set up process. Once we were inside of the insulated tent, it was a great pleasure to watch the fish Purdue our bait via the underwater HD camera. Got many delicious yellow perch for dinner that night. 10/10 would go again :)

It was our first experience of ice fishing and it was really great. Our kids enjoyed it a lot. Sherif was outstanding and he made this experience unforgettable for everyone.

If you’re after adventure and a little fear, this is a great opportunity to experience both. Being my first time on us was a thrill, though always feeling safe. The great creaking noises add a chill!

Very professional setup, warm tent and everything you need to experience ice fishing. Location was beautiful, followed by a sunset. Sherif knew the lake and was prepared to ensure every chance of success- which was achieved.

If you are not used to the cold don’t under estimate your boots, which when sitting and standing are always on ice! We experienced the coldest day this season! Your body and hands are warm from the heater, so extra socks and boot warmers.

Sherif brought us out for our first ice fishing experience just outside of Ottawa and we had an amazing time. He taught us the important points of ice safety as well as introduced us to equipment needed. He gave us the base to do it on our own and we've been ice fishing ever since! He is passionate about fishing and really made it a lot of fun to learn. He's also super friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!
