(December 1, 2023, 10:22 pm)This felt like a gem in the wall kinda restaurant! Not only was the food delicious, the service was wonderful. The staff there made it fun and exciting. I have both gluten and dairy allergies, and they are free from both those allergies! I had to go on a 5 hour car ride and I wasn't sick not even for a second!!! They also had a delicious gluten free dessert!

Tried the shawarma sandwich and was happy that the meat is mostly chicken breast.
Also liked the fact that they toast the bread & chicken BEFORE they add the veggies. This way your veggies aren’t warm and soggy.
Tried the spicy chicken that was recommended by the cashier, but I didn’t really taste any special flavour from the chicken. Mostly I tasted the garlic spread, and the turnips.
It’s awkward to order because you have to pay first, but the menu is above the service counter. So you end up walking towards the service counter deciding what you want, then walk back to the cashier to place your order. It would make more sense to put the cashier after the service counter.
The kids get a kick out of “The Garlic King Thrown” at the entrance. It’s a fun photo opportunity.
I would recommend you try them out. -

(September 22, 2022, 11:56 pm)Amazing experience. Customer service is off the charts. Everyone working there are genuine. Every customer was happy and evidently as satisfied as I was! The food is fresh, healthy and super delicious. The hummus is excellent and the taboulie is authentic. In fact, everything is authentic. He really is the Garlic King! There is even an area staged to have your photo taken or a selfish ib the throne of the Garlic King! There is also a children's menu. There is also a wonderful selection of Gluten free options. Prices are very reasonable. I cannot say enough about the personable, adorable, genuine customer care. I highly recommend to everyone.

(September 12, 2020, 3:39 pm)Came here because I wanted to meet the Garlic King and try his famous shawarmas. I was not disappointed. Met him and he is as exceptional as his food is.
I got spicy chicken wrap and a mix wrap and I couldn’t believe how fresh it tasted. Their chicken isn’t as juicy as I’d hoped for but it is still amazing. Their veggies add so much flavour and compliment to the freshness of the chicken. This shawarma place is a must try to all Ottawa residents.
They also have a gluten free menu which is so great. And they also offer a big variety of food so don’t only try their wraps.
