(October 30, 2022, 7:15 pm)Thanks for the speedy chai latte - I didn’t miss the bus! However, it should have added black tea bag for there is such a lack of caffeine buzz which is what I was after in lieu of having a third coffee today🙏 merci.

Ice machine was broken but I was able to get a can of nitro cold brew, and the barista poured me a bit of oat milk in a cup so I was still able to enjoy my morning cold brew! Then the polite cashier informed me the brownies were also vegan, so I had a yummy treat as well. Super cute local coffee shop, able to get my morning caffeine in between trains!

(September 30, 2021, 10:09 pm)So with the trains being down I thought it would be nice to check out the Happy Goat while I waited for the bus. The sign had the baristas choice as a gingerbread latte. I figured it would be a nice fall drink while I waited.
Honestly, I came at like 5:45 and they close at 6, so I get that maybe the barista was ready to close up. But I really felt like I received really dismissive service. I asked if they were still opened, but he nodded rather annoyed. I paid and grabbed my drink and I’m almost 100% sure it’s just a regular latter and not a gingerbread latte. Or maybe he didn’t add enough flavouring but I definitely didn’t taste any gingerbread in there.
Anyways, I don’t see many reviews on this new business, and I hate to be the first negative one. But I don’t think there’s any reason to make me feel like I’m annoying you just because I want to try a new drink. In all fairness the latte was nice, and I wouldn’t really be that annoyed by a wrong drink order. I think the service could have been a lot friendlier.
Edit: I noticed my review brought them down to a 3.7 and I don’t want to harm a new place like that over one bad interaction. -

(June 11, 2021, 5:46 pm)I was so surprised to be walking through the Blair LRT station and to stumble across The Happy Goat! There’s a great selection of coffee and light baked goods, including nitro cold brew if that’s your thing. Staff are super friendly and the prices are great. Very happy I found it!
