(February 25, 2024, 2:18 am)Consistent quality and service. We have been to the other Daldongnae restaurants in Toronto and Mississauga area. This one in Ottawa is as good as the others we have visited in terms of food quality and service. Our servers were polite and prompt taking care of us.
There is limited parking behind the restaurant. Otherwise there are plenty street parking options nearby. -

(February 7, 2024, 10:13 pm)I was very excited to try this Korean BBQ experience. 4 of us were squished into a booth made for very small people. I was expecting to get a plate for my food but maybe that's not how it works. They were out of two of the meats I wanted to try. Also our server was very absent so filling up the bottomless items wasn't that easy. Just an ok experience for me.

(January 7, 2024, 5:44 pm)Delicious food and awesome service. We came with kids and they accommodated us all the way by finding us a small and cozy spot.
I dropped a spoon on the floor and the waitress appeared out of nowhere with a clean spoon and a huge smile. Attention to small details makes the difference.
As for the food, we loved the omelet and creamy sweet corn on the side and kept asking for more.
The wagyu beef was ok and priced accordingly (not the best part but a good portion to compensate). My daughters devoured it so I’m happy with it!
The seafood pancake was so delicious I forgot to take a picture.
We had a soup that was a bit salty, which would be the only so-so part of the experience.
This place focuses on meat and seafood quality, and it makes a huge difference when you compare with other all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ.
Might be slightly more expensive but it’s worth it.

(November 27, 2023, 2:58 am)Wow, such an amazing spot for Korean bbq in Ottawa! I was introduced to this spot my friend and it’s so delicious. It’s not all your can eat so you order your meat a la carte. However, all the side dishes, including the lettuce, corn, egg and garlic are refillable! Service was quick and prompt. I loved the dipping sauces and the cute interior. Great ambiance although it gets a little smoky.

(October 11, 2023, 3:39 am)Went as a party of 2. Tables can seat up to 4 but really is best for 2 to comfortably eat with all the dishes; had no empty table space to spare. Flagged down a staff member who took our order. I definitely recommend the kimchi fried rice! I especially enjoyed making my own lettuce wraps with meat & veggies. 2 servings of meat (200g each) for 2 ppl was a good portion. I still ate too much and was very full. Was seated for 1.5 hours for the meal (had to cook it and wait lol). Overall, the atmosphere was lively and the food tasted great. I highly recommend the kbbq experience at least once!!
