Deckify - Deck & Patio Builders

I am extremely happy with the deck that was built by Kevin and his team at Deckify. They did a fantastic job and giving me a deck that I absolutely love! You can tell they take extreme pride in their work and always ensuring everything is done right. They went above and beyond in making sure I was happy with the work and made sure to leave everything in a clean state. When unforeseen adjustments needed to be made, Kevin already had a backup plan in place and took care of everything seamlessly. Everything (design, materials, workmanship) was top quality from beginning to end. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to get a deck built.

We found Deckify at the Ottawa Home and Garden show. We had moved into a new construction home and were there to identify local companies that specialized in designing and building backyard structures. We had a concept of what we wanted and approximate dimensions. Briefly, what we wanted was a 2-level deck with a roofed-in storage area under the upper level. We discussed our requirements with several companies. We obtained several estimates, some verbal and others written down on the spot. We paused for a coffee and selected 3 of the more interesting companies. We returned for a second interview with each of the three, requested a conceptual design with a written estimate. Only Deckify proposed a 2-hour session during which Kevin used a computer program to create a 3-dimensional design of the deck according to our requirements, provided a cost based upon the agreed design, provided the result within 2 weeks of our meeting and a proposed start date for the work. During this interactive process, he suggested several improvements we had not thought of as well as recommended the most cost-effective products. We contracted with Kevin to provide the Municipality of North Grenville with the necessary documentation and obtain the building permit. While this was an additional cost on top of materials and labour, for us it was well worth it. Despite weather delays, work started work pretty much on schedule. As work progressed, any issues were resolved on the spot. The workmanship is excellent. During construction time was taken daily to discuss points of interest, the progress made and the plans for the next day. The deck was finished on schedule despite supply chain delays and with no overrun in the cost. We highly recommend Kevin and his team and will welcome any interested parties to examine their work

We had an excellent experience with Deckify and would highly recommend them for your next deck project. The quality of the work is excellent and Kevin's solutions for potential problems (gas hookup interference, hot tub panel access, etc) were well thought out and well executed.

Akim and Chad were our builders and they were extremely friendly, professional, knowledgeable and efficient. They are skilled at what they do and care about all of the small details. They have great communication skills so kept us informed throughout the process.

We love the end result and we won't hesitate to have them back for future projects. You won't be disappointed!

I am very pleased with the professionalism of the entire crew of Deckify. I met them at the Home Show in Feb. I was contacted the following week and set up an appointment for Kevin and his partner who own the business to come to the house .For over an hour, they listened to my idea and together we explored various designs on their computer. To see the computerized design really helped to visualize the final look. I settled on one design and I was given the price for the entire project at that time. Kevin estimated the project to be three days to removed the old deck and install the new deck. All deadlines were met. Kevin managed the logistics of the dumpster, and all supplies to be delivered and picked up flawlessly.
Chad, the foreman, and his two workers were great to work with. The were very respectful and polite. All through the project, Chad consulted with me when minor adjustments needed to be made.
The final price was exactly the same as the original quote. There were no additional charges.
The crew cleaned up the yard upon completion. Kevin stopped by twice in the three days to ensure that the work was being done correctly and that I was pleased with it.
I will enjoy my new deck for many years to come.

We met Kevin at the home and garden show at his Deckify booth. We felt very comfortable with Kevin. In March, he came to see the backyard and took very precise measurements. On his computer, he took the time to explain to us the layout and how it would be built. His price was very reasonable. We were very pleased with this meeting. His schedule was right on ,on May 9th and 10th. His workers were very good. They did an excellent job of cleaning up after the job was done. We highly recommend this company. We are 150 % very satisfied with Deckify workmanship.
