The rates are good but you get what you pay for

We happened to be here during a very hot week and there's no AC, so bring a fan if there is a chance of hot weather, and bring:

- Bedding and linens, including pillows and towels
- Food including all the basics (sugar, salt, pepper)
- Drinking water (the water here might be drinkable, but has a very strong chlorine taste and smell)
- Non-stick frying pan, plastic spatula, and a sharp chef's knife
- Tupperware, plastic wrap, and aluminum foil
- Cleaning supplies (paper towels, wash cloth, dish soap, e.t.c.))
- Ice cube tray(s) [there wasn't one in our fridge]
- Folding chairs (if a picnic table is not good enough for you)

We have been going up to Jake's Cottages for several years and really enjoy our time there. We specifically go to Jake's for a fishing weekend and are never disappointed. Les and Jan are great people who care about their clients and provide a great place to just spend a quiet and relaxing time with the family.

Jake's cottages is amazing. The owner Les and his family are super friendly and go out of their way to help you feel comfortable and take care of you. The cabins are cozy and get the job done. Bring your own bedding and food but pots and pans and dishes are supplied. The hot water is reliable and the washrooms are clean. The BBQs work great. The boats are affordable and work well. The place is well loved and has a comfortable feeling. Nothing posh or fancy here, this is down to earth comfortable relaxation in nature and it's so good! The scenery is incredible and the fishing is great. I come here every year at least twice a year. It's always a great time at Jake's and I highly recommend this place. Book early as it fills up fast. A really nice hidden gem in Ontario.

My husband and I rented a cottage up here for a couple off days. We were allowed to bring are 100 pound dog. What a great place,clean lots off hot water great people all over the park, The cabins are super clean and cozy.(best sleep I have gotten in a while)My dog also had a great time swimming and checking everything out. We well be back awesome camp site
