Pinecrest Cottages

This was our first time at Pinecrest Cottages, and won't be our last. Very clean, organized quarters and grounds. It's nice to see a business owner invest back into the business. My son and I have been visiting Rice Lake for 10 years now. With it's renovated cottages and we'll crafted fishing boats, fully equipped with flat floors, bilge pumps and lights. Pinecrest has added a fishing vacation experience my son and I felt was second to none.
Diego was a fantastic host. He always made time to make sure your needs were met while continuing to improve the grounds and facilities for future vacationers.

We just spent our second vacation at Pinecrest cottages. We have already booked for next year. We LOVED the place and everything about it. The owners are terrific,the cottages are clean and comfortable.We used the kayaks,the paddle boats and the beach. WOw! what a great place.

What a fabulous time we had. This is our 2nd year coming up, just as before it was an amazing time. The owners take such care and work so very hard to maintain and upkeep this beautiful escape. They have the most cute quaint and the absolute gorgeous little self contained cottages, they offer the cutest and niffty boat rentals, as well as a community fire in evenings. There is great fishing available, as well as a beautiful beach to swim. The property is astonishing.... the view from anywhere there is incredible....my son and family had such a wonderful time.... we will be back again next year. Can't wait to see the upgrades. The owners are amazing..... they are welcoming, as well as space giving, they check in once-in-a-while but not much..... its amazing how much ppl care and continue to care...... thanks so much....see ya next year.... maybe b4....Wen

My Family has been going to Pinecrest Cottages for 12 years and sometimes twice a year.
Diego and Lynn have upgraded many of the cottages and we have stayed in a few different ones.
The fishing is great and the views are breathtaking.
Diego and Lynn are always there to help make our stay enjoyable.
We now have our second generation going.
Even Sister week is spent at Pinecrest.

It is obvious to any guest that the owner, Diego takes great pride in his property. I have never seen anyone so hard working and so friendly. I truly believe he is the reason why so many guests keep coming back year after year. I probably will do the same.
The cabins are constantly being renovated. They offer basic but comfortable amenities. I would recommend the lakeside cabins as they have the best views. Many guests sit outside their cabins reading or contemplating the lake. Many families partake in the healthy lifestyle the resort offers: fishing, swimming, paddling, etc.
The dock is only a few steps away for fishing (walleye, muskie, etc) and/or swimming. Motor boats (including pontoon boats) are available for daily/weekly rental.
A small sandy beach is equipped with Adirondack chairs, kayaks, a canoe and a paddle boat.
Added bonus: a two-part walking trail covers local flora.
Local secret: a magical watery marshland is just minutes away by kayak.
hint: Diego is currently working on a recreation room which will offer an arcade, a pool table, fussball and other fun games.
