Wicklow Manor Bed & Breakfast

We can't say enough about how fabulous our stay at Wicklow Manor Bed & Breakfast was. We chose them based on their excellent reviews and yet they still managed to supercede our expectations. Our hosts, Vera and Gary, were absolutely lovely, and more than hospitable. Their home cooked breakfast was a perfect start to our adventure filled day. We would highly recommend this establishment to anyone looking for a clean and very comfortable place to stay. We already booked our next visit!

We spent a wonderful long weekend at Wicklow Manor and can’t speak highly enough about the hosts, accommodations and Vera’s yummy breakfasts! The house is beautiful and welcoming, and our room, the Wicklow, was very cosy and comfortable. We spent time exploring the area’s shops and restaurants and enjoyed the beautiful scenery. Many thanks again Vera and Gary!

Everything was perfect! The food was amazing, including tomatoes and herbs fresh from the garden and eggs from their own free range hens. The rooms are well appointed and comfortable and the friendly hosts, Vera and Gary, went above and beyond in helping us plan every part of our stay in this charming area. We shall be recommending a stay here to all of our friends and family and will come back for a return visit as soon as we can.

We recently stayed at Wicklow Manor with our kids (4 + 7) and it was such a lovely visit.

Vera and Gary are extremely friendly and accommodating. It felt like I was visiting a wonderful relative. The beds were comfy and rooms spacious. We had no trouble fitting our group of 4 into the room with 2 beds, it was very clean and you could open the windows to allow the fresh air to circulate. For me, this is a huge factor in a good night sleep.

The food and coffee were both delicious! We ate a big 2 course breakfast and went on our daily adventures (barely needing lunch after the big breaky). When we returned, Vera was kind enough to provide us amazing home cooked family meals, delicious and nutritious.

We spent some time out back on their deck, enjoyed their beautiful gardens, had an evening fire and gazed at the stars. You can see MARS from their yard!!! The kids got to feed some chickens which was very cute. In fact, both days they asked "Is it time to go home yet?" referring to Wicklow Manor. Felt like home.

We'll definitely be returning, but next time without the little guys ;)

Vera and Gary were fantastic hosts and made us feel welcomed right away. They weren't just attentive, they anticipated our needs and met them before we even had to ask! The room was very comfortable, clean and fairly spacious. There's fascinating books, photos and beautiful Indigenous art throughout the house. The property has beautiful gardens and Vera's pancakes were amazing! I would highly recommend a stay here. We'll definitely be back!
