With the support of the leadership team, all staff and experienced trip leaders, campers head out on overnight canoe trips, the trips lengthening as age increases. Trip experiences are like none other. They return with stories of the wilderness, the challenges, the calmness, the wildlife, the independence, the teamwork and the fun. My daughter went to Wanapitei for years, working and saving her money to help finance her trips, including V2 after Grade 12. Importantly, as a parent, I always felt confident for their safety and welcomed at camp for trip returns and celebrations. This is a strong community with decades of experience and love of canoe-tripping, which they love to share with others.
