Visit2: After almost 6 years we have visited this place again with three families. We booked three cottages.
Cottages are very well equipped and very well designed to accommodate people. In the largest cottage,
4 adults and 2 kids can sleep very easily. Though the weather was harsher than we expected for a thanksgiving weekend (cold and rainy), we had a lot of fun. The cottages were warm and cozy.

The owner(Sandra) is a very hardworking and a very nice person, she tries her best to help people who visit there and teach various tricks of living in the natural space. It was a cold night, and she was kind enough to come out and give us more firewood, as we had run out of woods. On another day, she helped and taught us how to start fire in bon-fire pit, given it was raining a bit. Overall, a very memorable trip and vacation well spent.

Visit1: We had one day stay in cabins with 3 families. It was the best experience for us. Every thing was well maintained, the owner was very helpful and informative. We loved every moment of our stay. Hope we could spend at least one more day there.

I love Red Deer and I love Sandra. She is such a hard working lady, and she really cares about her business, property and most of all her guests. I love the washrooms and dish cleaning stations throughout the camp. The property is huge! If you're going to camp, be cool, pick up your butts and don't steal wood (I saw a couple rascals in the middle of the night). If you want to see the stars and a beautiful river....come to Red Deer. I can't wait to see Sandra again next spring. Thanks for having us on short notice..twice ❤️❤️

I have been to Red Deer Cabins a number of times. I absolutely love it! The cabins have everything that you need. There is a bathroom cabin that is close to the cabins and is kept clean. Sandra has always been welcoming and friendly. The campground is peaceful and close to a waterfalls. You can canoe or hike there. It is definitely my favorite place to stay when I come up to Algonquin.

I had the pleasure of staying at Red Deer Log Cabins and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the beauty and serenity of the surroundings.

One of the highlights of my stay was undoubtedly the warm hospitality and exceptional service provided by Sandra, the owner of Red Deer Log Cabins. Sandra's passion for the local area and her extensive knowledge of nature, particularly edible mushrooms, added an extra layer of enjoyment to my time there.

The overall atmosphere at Red Deer Log Cabins was one of tranquility and rejuvenation. The peacefulness of the location, combined with Sandra's warm and welcoming nature, created a perfect balance between relaxation and adventure.

I recommend Red Deer Log Cabins to anyone seeking an authentic and memorable getaway. Thank you, Sandra, for creating such a wonderful retreat and for sharing your passion and knowledge with your guests. My stay at Red Deer Log Cabins was next level.

We had a wonderful long weekend at Sandra's place. Sandra is very welcoming and very helpful. Incredible nature. Water is so nice and clean, very good beach and very good sandy bottom of the river. Sunrise kayaking to see the waterfalls was stunning. There is very nice hiking just 15 min drive from the Red Deer, less than 2 hours drive 100 meters deep Barron Canyon, 1hour drive Bonnechere caves. So much to see.
Thank you, Sandra, hope we will come again.
