(August 9, 2023, 1:35 am)Stopped by on my way into Shall lake for a canoe trip. Purchase a classic hamburger at the takeout side and it was VERY good. So good that we stopped again on the way out. Got the Madawaska hamburger with fires and gravy. Very nice service, excellent food. This will be my go-to spot every time I go to Algonquin Park.

(November 6, 2020, 10:14 pm)Lived here my whole life, prices are fairly high. But he’s never done me wrong. Has fair selection. Don’t know what people are talking about receipts, I’ve never had a problem the 15 years I’ve been here.

(August 10, 2020, 10:33 am)Reviews are a little confusing but I guess people've had differen't experiences than me. Gone plenty of times while winter camping (or any time I go camping in a
Algonquin) and I usually find their snacks, clothing, and other items are actually cheaper than most places I've been to if not just reasonably priced. Always was helped when I ask.
