Beachside Cottages on Lake Muskoka

We had such a beautiful long weekend at Beachside Cottages! We stayed in Cottage #8 which was absolutely beautiful with a gorgeous barn-door style entrance to the bedroom that gave the whole cottage an extra spark of charm. The cottage was very clean and you can tell that they have been well-maintained and recently renovated.

Janet was such a lovely host, making sure to check in with us and see if there was anything else we needed. You can tell this family goes above and beyond to run their business and that meant the world to us!

We wish we had more time than just a long weekend, we could have easily spent a week or more relaxing on the beautiful property and taking in the surrounding sights. Thanks again for everything, Janet!!

This is truly a hidden gem, the cottages are recently renovated and very clean.
Very conveniently located close to Port Carling and amenities like golf courses, hiking etc.
The host is very accomodating and went out of her way to make the stay very memorable.
Highly recommended!!!

Beautiful spot! This place looks recently renovated and has a nice charm to it. They allow boats to park there and the beach and docks are great for swimming. Was able to get to Port Carling by both boat (about 10-15 minutes) and car (about a 5 minute drive). The cabin we stayed in was nice and clean and had everything we needed for cooking and sleeping comfortably. They also have BBQ's on site which came in handy for cooking dinner. Definitely going back soon and considering their one 3 bedroom cabin for snowmobiling this upcoming season.

A beautiful spot to visit. I would certainly recommend staying at least 2 nights to have enough time to explore the area and take advantage of all the amenities available. The thoughtful touches make these accommodations perfect for a weekend getaway (docks, lounge chairs, barbecues, cutlery/dishes, boardgames, etc.). Definitely returning here this summer!
