He is easy to get in touch with, responds quickly and communicates clearly. The work he does is top-notch quality and the pricing is fair (you get what you pay for!). Derek is extremely professional, knowledgable and trustworthy and we are happy to continue working with him on the planned projects we have for our home in 2023!

He had a helper on the first of the two days, which sped up the work and increased the value. Derek was a very professional communicator throughout. He was excellent with updates and used photos to show progress. I am very happy. I would hire Derek again and recommend him.

He is a master at what he does and was able to complete all repairs with great professionalism and workmanship. The breadth of his skills is truly amazing! We really appreciated his attention to detail and the fact that he goes above and beyond, by not only completing a task, but also making useful suggestions. Derek is always very responsive and keeps us updated on his work through photos which is very helpful. He takes pride in his work and it shows! We feel very lucky that we found someone as knowledgeable and honest as Derek to help us with our renovations, and we look forward to working with him in the future.

Not only did he effectively complete the contracted work he also provided sage advice and suggestions throughout the process. This led to our making better and more informed decisions on finishing colours and styles. The end results were better thanks to Derek's advice and competency.
