Happy Tails Pet Resort & Camp

We have been sending our dogs Gryffindor and Shea to Happy Tails for a number of years. It gives us peace of mind knowing that they are having fun and being well taken care of when we need. Lisa is so kind and caring, as are all the staff. The resort is just a great place to leave our”kids”

After living in 3 different regions of Ontario, Happy Tails is the ONLY place I will leave my furkids. They are so happy to have an abundance of room to run and other dogs to socialize with. Since we moved to N.S., they are extremely happy to see Lisa upon our return to Ont. when commitments with family and friends require me to leave them for a few days at a time. It gives me tremendous peace of mind to know they are well taken care of and very happy. Thank you, Lisa!

My dog is always so excited to go to Happy Tails. Large outdoor space with plenty of room to run and explore with the other dogs, and areas for her to swim. My dog is so tired and content when she comes home. She has a pretty good life at home lol, but i think the time spent with her dog buddies being able to do dog stuff together is very important. I don't go away very often without my girl, but when I do have to leave her, I'm glad I have this wonderful place to let her have her own mini-vacation, while I'm gone.

I have been sending my setters to Lisa for almost two years now. In contrast to when I pull up to the veterinarians office, at Happy Tails my dogs jump out of the car and don't even look back. They absolutely love it there. Who wouldn't? There is no better place that I have encountered for the dogs to board. I don't have to think too hard about it because as every pet owner knows, it is easy to tell when the dog is content and even more so when they are thrilled.

Lisa and her staff do a wonderful job of caring for the nonhumans in their midst but also of communicating with the pet owner. I appreciate that. Highly recommend!

We dropped our two dogs off for the first time for the weekend and our first impression was "wow". This place is like a dogs dream! There is so much space and forest for the dogs to run in. I could tell they both had an excellent weekend because my one dog (who's actually a little socially awkward) had a huge smile on her face when we came to pick her up, you could tell she was SO happy. Our other dog who's a puppy also had a blast because shortly after greeting us at pick up she ran back to the door and cried to go back in to see her new friends! We will definitely be dropping them back off again in the future. Highly recommend.
