I was so pleased with the training we received from Ken. He was engaging without being over the top. He had us off our seats doing lots of practical exercises, but not so much that we didn’t learn the theory. We did some scenarios, but he kept them short and snappy. Ken made sure to keep everyone on track and learned about specific topics the group wanted to focus on. I was never bored and felt that all the information was presented in an easy-to-digest manner. We repeated important parts of the course so that it would feel more natural in a situation when we were called on to step in and help. He also took the time to get to know people, answer questions, and learn folks’ names. I've had some very poor experiences in the past with first aid courses, and I would 100% recommend Ken to anyone!

I have taken a LOT of First Aid courses over the years with different organizations but this course with Ken was byfar the best!
He is very organized in the way he teaches, covers all topics but also teaches in a way that is very "user friendly" and easy to understand. He makes the class fun and enjoyable. He is passionate about what he teaches and his knowledge base is phenomenal.
He uses a lot of different teaching methods with lots of demonstration and a lot of hands on practice as well as sharing personal experiences.
All of his equipment gives great user feedback in order to really grasp the material being taught.
I highly recommend Ken for all of your First Aid and CPR needs!

Loved the blended style of teaching/learning and small class size. It was great to learn the theory online at my own pace. The in-class portion of the course was great to just focus on the skills and then being able to get real-time feedback from the mannequins as you perform the CPR skills was amazingly helpful. It was nice to be able to correct my skills then and there and see the improvement on the screen. Definitely a great use of technology to evaluate and improve learning! Ken is a knowledgeable and experienced CPR instructor. His friendly, approachable, encouraging personality made for a comfortable and safe learning environment. Would definitely recommend!
