(October 29, 2021, 10:14 pm)I was driving in the rain one day, lost and running low on fuel and self-confidence. My eyes, bleary with stress, became fixed upon the stark black-and-white contrast of a store sign reading "One Plant". I parked my car and walked through the doors, drawn in by a primordial impulse or by some divine force's weavings of fate.
A voice rang out upon entry with a friendliness so welcoming to my tired ears.

A budtender, as professional and kind as described in legend. I recalled the writings of those old texts and presented the budtender an offering: my ID. The offering worked and I was granted entry.
What I found inside brought me more joy than the birth of my first and only child: a store so carefully planned in its design and so lovingly maintained one might consider it a temple of cannabis, or a shrine devoted to the plant and patron; I myself am advocating for its designation as a UNESCO heritage site. This place holds a carefully curated collection of flower, edibles, concentrates, accessories, and a staff so passionate one might assume they've entered the headquarters of a nonprofit committed to some worthwhile cause. And, why wouldn't you? It is clear that the owners, the operators, and the budtenders are all driven by the same cause: the spreading of knowledge and the building of community. If that isn't a worthy cause well then I haven't heard of one.
If you find yourself entering through the doors of One Plant Strathroy expect friendly and attentive service and palpable passion. I've since exited through those doors and am still hopelessly lost (I've been driving for three days now), but I know that, one day, I'll find myself drawn in by the contrast of that sign and I'll once again feel a little less lost. -

(June 20, 2021, 2:44 pm)I was very impressed! I have shopped at Oneplant Masonville before and became a repeat customer, happy to see my hometown has one and don't have to drive too far. Staff was super friendly, store super clean and fast service! All around amazing experience will definitely be back!
