(May 2, 2019, 3:47 am)May 1st: Hiked the Inch Trail (blue trail). It was great, besides part of it being closed. New wooden walkways over the creek: nice. Trails are fairly muddy this time of year. Looking forward to returning again to hike the rest of the trails.

(April 22, 2019, 12:28 am)Spring in Joany's Woods is everything it should be; new plants pushing through the earth, flowers beginning to creep into the underbrush, spring peepers crying for mates in the swamp, and bees and butterflies flitting from hungry flower to flower. Expect mud and embrace the solitude. It is worth every minute.
