Alder Design and Build

We used Scott and Alder Design & Build for a complete bathroom renovation. Scott was great to work with. He was always prompt with answering any questions or concerns and was quick to rectify anything that needed attention. He definitely made sure that we ended up with the bathroom of our dreams. It was a huge undertaking and Scott made it effortless for us.

Scott and Brian did an incredible job building our fence. They were extremely efficient and had it finished quickly. It's high quality and looks gorgeous. They were both very kind, accomodating and friendly. Highly recommend!

Scott designed and installed new wooden fence gates. He came out and spent time explaining ways to address the issues we had with our existing fence and overgrown cedars. His quote was detailed and captured all aspects of the build.
The entire experience was well managed and exceeded our expectations. Scott is a great communicator and listened to all our needs. He’s very friendly, knowledgeable and even fit our project in earlier than expected. He completed the job and left the worksite clean. We could not be more pleased with the workmanship and continue to get compliments from our neighbours.

Alder built our fence in the fall and did a great job. Made suggestions to improve it and it really turned out great. They just returned to put in a deck. Again, knocked it out of the park! Great group of men to deal with and great tips and suggestions to improve the design. Really a pleasure to deal with and results again were outstanding. They will be back for the next job on my list. I feel fortunate to have found them to do this work! Honest, reliable, friendly and know what they’re doing! Thank-you Scott, Brian and Pat.

I had been looking for a company to replace my parents deck and fence for three years. This was unsuccessful as other companies did not return phone calls/show up to give quote etc. I was given Alder Design phone number. I spoke with Scott and he promptly, along with Brian attended and provided us quotes for their fence and deck. I felt their quotes were very reasonable. Construction of the deck was started shortly thereafter and finished within a week. Their workmanship was of excellent quality and I had no issues. Three weeks later, once the backyard dried up from the spring rain, they returned and replaced the fence. This again only took a few days. Quality was again excellent. I have since recommended them to several associates.
