Melissa is an absolute gem! We are so happy she was able to capture our special day. She is calm, organized and professional in nature, therefore making our experience a relaxed & enjoyable one! Melissa definitely has an eye and her hand-picked sneak peeks (that we got almost instantaneously) were definitely our favourites, too. 100% trust & highly recommend!!

It is really difficult to encapsulate what an amazing photographer and person Melissa is. Hiring Melissa was one of the first things we did when we started planning our wedding and it was one of the best decisions we made. Melissa did both our engagement and wedding photos, and my husband and I know that we will never hesitate to hire her for many life milestones down the road. Melissa made my husband and I feel incredibly confident and comfortable in front of the camera, she gave direction when needed, noticed all the small details (phone in the pocket, awkward hand positions, loose hair etc.) and continually attempted to make us laugh so that she could capture those candid moments. Melissa made us feel loved, supported and taken care of. In addition, Melissa is perfectly organized and an excellent communicator, she worked with us months before the wedding to work out our event/time schedule and the photo schedule to make sure she had time and windows of opportunity to get all the images we wanted and requested. In fact, on the day of the wedding we were running behind schedule and she didn’t even blink at our request for her to stay longer. Aside from her amazing talent and personable skills Melissa raises the bar high for personal touches, she sent us thank-you cards, a personalized box and USB with our photos AND she provided sneak peek photos hours after the wedding to ensure we had something to share with our family and friends. Melissa listens to you, doesn’t put pressure on you (even through a pandemic) and is patient with your wishes and requests, she continues to develop as a professional photographer (I follow her on Instagram) and it is very apparent that she is passionate about her work.
