Junior Achievement is not only a great learning experience, but also a fun and interactive way for students to see what it's like to be an entrepreneur. Having been both an achiever and a mentor I have experienced first hand the supportive and collaborative atmosphere Junior Achievement Of London & District strives to create. It's great because everyone can take away a little something different, whether it be better leadership skills, new friends, entrepreneur experience or all of the above.

I have been part of Junior Achievement (JA) for three years. Junior Achievement has been an amazing program for me and my friends to get together and develop business oriented skills together. Learning how to run a company and sell products has helped me develop skills that will help me for the rest of my life. I highly recommend every student to give it a chance.

In my three years of involvement in the Junior Achievement Program I obtained many skills, such as leadership, cooperation, work ethic, time management, and entrepreneurship fundamentals, all of which are applicable in the workforce. The program gave me extensive hands on experience in business fields such as marketing,financial,and production management, and really helped me to learn how a business works from the inside out, in a secure and supportive environment.
Overall, each and every year of Junior Achievement was a completely different, but valuable experience, with lots of new peer relationships to be built, roadblocks to learn from, and successes to be proud of. It made learning about business a lot of fun for me and I recommend it to all high school students!

I took part in the Junior Achievement company program in my final year of high school, and the experience was invaluable. It allowed me to work closely with community business leaders and other students in a friendly environment. I was given the opportunity to develop my leadership, business, and entrepreneurial skills in a new and exciting way. I highly recommend the Junior Achievement company program to all those looking to get involved.

I participated in the Junior Achievement program when I was in Toronto and after completing the program and learning so much from my helpful mentors I decided to volunteer while attending University. Seeing the program from a different angle allowed me to continue learning about business personally with the amazing lesson plans and structure provided by the staff and other volunteers. There is a lot more work than seen that goes into Junior Achievement and I believe that as a student this is a great program to learn about not just business but budgeting and personal finance, an area that is not covered as well as I would have liked when I was in high school.

Overall, I believe that Junior Achievement is a valuable learning experience for not just prospective business students but all students.
