Nick and Claudia excel and treating me with respect, valuing me as a person, acknowledging what I am experiencing and the physical goals I want to accomplish. Nick is terrific at probing for a complete clinical assessment, checking with me for confirmation of what he believes the diagnosis is and providing appropriately challenging interventions. I particularly appreciate that Nick educates me concerning what the issue is and how the progressive interventions will mitigate the issue(s). Claudia is a great encouragement for each progressive step that reduces pain, increases strength and improves mobility. She also demonstrates the correct form of the exercise and which muscle groups the exercise is designed to turn on or off. A number of years ago I met Nick and Claudia as a result of severe shoulder pain, following and maintaining their regime years later I remain pain free with improved shoulder mobility and strength. A few weeks ago I came in to deal with lower leg pain and a goal to complete a backpacking trip this fall. I now am pain free and have a solid plan to increase my strength and stamina to enjoy my backpacking trip this fall. Thank-you Nick and Claudia and the entire Old North Physiotherapy Team.

I couldn't have asked for a better place to receive my rehab before and after my ACL reconstruction. Nick is absolutely fantastic, always fun, upbeat, takes your feelings/ mood into consideration and always does his best to keep a positive mood and environment. The staff are very much down to earth and very good with people. The enviroment of the clinic Is fantastic, calm , relaxed and very accommodating. If your looking for a physiotherapist I highly recommend this clinic.

Re: Nick a physiotherapist at this office.
I had vertigo that was severe and debilitating . It came on suddenly and was intense. I was very scared as to what next steps would be as some cases last for days and weeks...according to Dr. Google! :) .Dr. Google also suggested that a certain maneuver would or could alleviate the vertigo. The maneuver is called the Epley maneuver and while it can be performed at home, because of how particular it is, and how the head needs to be positioned " just so" I thought it best to see a trained medical professional to do it. I called a few physiotherapists and not everyone is trained in the procedure. However, Nick at this office is, and he could see me right away. He was awesome! The whole place is great! They validate parking, they are friendly and professional. Nick did a series of tests, asked me some questions and then went right to the solution...he knew exactly how to do the treatment and what to look for. He was great! After one treatment my vertigo disappeared and life resumed to normal. Cant praise him highly enough . Definitely knows his stuff .

What a wonderful clinic! Nick was supportive and respectful of my physiotherapy "rehab" needs and my active lifestyle. We worked out a plan to help me gradually gain strength as part of my recovery and Nick was very knowledge, explaining how each exercise would help me and adjusting exercises I found too easy so I would gain full value and not plateau. I felt comfortable admitting when I didn't have enough time to devote to exercises between appointments, as both Nick and Claudia were understanding of my many commitments. Nick therefore worked with me to establish a plan that was accessible and productive. It was a contrast to some of my past experiences, elsewhere, when I was expected to make huge lifestyle changes and sacrifices "for the sake of my treatment." Nick was accommodating, realistic, and professional. I would certainly recommend the Old North pt Health team and, though I don't expect to be back soon (since my experience was overall effective), I know the first call I make should I have any future mobility issues will be to this clinic.

I am glad I went to PT health for my sciatica. Nick is awesome and he was honest and realistic about how long the healing process would take and he always listened to me and answered any questions I had. The whole team is welcoming and friendly. Nick and Claudia are kind and motivated me at each visit. They gave me exercises that I could do at home to strengthen and heal. They gave me the tools to move forward pain free. I can't thank the team enough.
