It's a good place to get a hair cut if you are busy with exams and studying
I've been going there for three years, since I started university basically. Last year I believe they hired this chinese lady (I don't mean to be racist, but that's the only way for me to pinpoint her). she's a nice lady and all, but I know that she works at a barbershop near foods island on oxford and wonderland, and there they charge $10 I believe, while here I get charged $25.
With all due respect, but this lady cuts my hair as if I'm paying $10, she's always in a rush, doesn't spend more than 10 minutes on a haircut, doesn't cut my hair very well, last time I was there she messed up my hair by not cutting the back top evenly, and my hair ended up looking very weird. today she almost put product on my hair before blow drying it to get rid of all the small cut hair, I had to tell her to blow dry it, and she didn't even do it well enough, and she and she didn't thin out correctly either.
she never even offered to wash my head after, ever, which is another indicator that she's just always in a rush.
why should I pay $25~ for a haircut that I can get for $10 cash if I go see her at the other barber shop?!!!
she's also always hunting for customers, doesn't even ask if I want someone else to do my haircut... and I don't want to sound rude.
Other than that, everyone else is great, and very welcoming.
