The sky here is very broad and you can see many stars here. Here you can easily see the Milky Way. Disadvantages: too close to the highway, often when taking photos always have car light into the pictures☹️ -

(July 30, 2019, 1:44 pm)This was my second visit to a dark sky area to take photos of the Milky Way Galaxy. The location and facilities were great, and I would like to visit this place again in the future. One drawback of this location was that it was close to highway #41, which was carrying a lot of traffic. There were a few times when I had to retake a long exposure because the headlights or tail lights of a passing car showed up on the image. I could get around that by timing my photos of the Milky Way Galaxy to when a vehicle went by since I could hear the vehicles coming. That didn't work well when I tried to take a series of long exposure photos to make a star trail image. Every once in a while the headlights of a car would show up on one of the images. I'm not 100% sure, but I also believe that the light from Napanee in the south was visible in the Milky Way Galaxy photos.
